Prices quoted are per room per night and include full English breakfast, VAT charged at the prevailing rate.

Arrival – Check Out Times

Check-in times: Third Party bookings (on-line travel agents) – from 16:00.
Direct bookings – earlier, after arrangement with the owner. Checkout for all is 10:30am. Please let us know if you require a check-in or check-out at different times and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.

Card Verification

Deposits are not taken but card details will be taken at the time of booking and verified. Bookings will not be confirmed for bookings that fail this verification process. Potential guests will be given the opportunity to give alternative card details. Failure to provide valid details will result in the booking being cancelled.

Cancellations

Please note that whilst we will make every effort to re-let accommodation when cancelled. If cancelled more than 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later in the 3 day period, the value of the first nights accommodation cost will be charged. For no-shows, the full value of the booking will be charged. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances to cover cases such as- bereavement, medical appointments, medical conditions, illness (including CoVid 19), adverse weather conditions etc to include all guests on the booking

Cancellations can only be accepted in writing either by post or email, your room is NOT cancelled until you receive a cancellation letter from Bwlch Y Fedwen B&B or your on line travel agent.

Amendments or Cancellations by Bwlch Y Fedwen B&B

Should we for reasons beyond our control need to change a booking/room, then we will use all reasonable endeavours to offer the client alternative comparable facilities within the locality at no additional cost or liability. In these circumstances the client may accept or decide to cancel the booking. This is the limit of our responsibility.

Payments

Payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or Delta cards, Apple Pay, or cash. Any additional costs (flowers, wine, packed lunches, afternoon tea) will be charged at the stated rate and added to the guest’s invoice. Payment will be taken the night before guests’ departure.

No Pet/Animal Policy

Although we love animals, out of respect for those with severe allergies and for hygiene reasons -we cannot  accept pets at Bwlch Y Fedwen B&B – sorry! We can however give details of cat and dog kennels locally.

Damages

We also ask that guests refrain from bringing takeaway food into their rooms due to the risk of spillage and unpleasant, lingering odours. Any damage caused by spillage will be charged.

Any other damages, including damage caused by misuse of the hot tub will be charged accordingly.

Parking

Please note we have private off- road parking but our car park is not covered by CCTV. Parking is at the guest’s own risk. The owners do not accept any liability for damages caused whilst on holiday or whilst parked on the premises.

Breakages

We reserve the right to charge for breakages and/or damages to Bwlch Y Fedwen B&B, this will be taken against the card held for payment. The main person shown on the booking will be held responsible for any damages.

Smoking

Smoking, vaping and use of recreational drugs is not allowed at any time in the bedrooms, stairways or entrance porches and communal areas of the building. Smoking or vaping may be carried out on the outside decking area away from the house so long as this does not cause any disturbance to other guests. Cigarette stubs must not under any circumstances be left in the bedroom bins or thrown on the floor. Receptacles for the safe disposal of cigarette butts are provided outside. Anyone who has been found or suspected to be smoking indoors will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to £300, payable against the card held to cover the booking, and asked to leave the premises immediately without refund.

Noise

This is a quiet residential area and so for that reason we ask that guests conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. T.V’s should be kept to a minimum volume in the evenings and loud conversations in the bedroom corridor should not be held after 10pm. The hot tub may not be used after 10pm in order to reduce external noise levels for our neighbours.

You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by reserving a room.

Illness (suspected CoVid-19)

Should you or any of your party fall ill with suspected CoVid-19 whilst staying at the premises; for the safety of us and our other guests we will ask that you leave.  It is not permissible to self isolate at the premises. Should you or a member of your party be too ill to leave  then all costs involved in the sanitisation of the room and additional stay plus any losses incurred as a direct result of this will be borne by the guest.
